Our story didn't start with an online store. It began on the 26 courts of Play Squash Academy in the Washington Metropolitan Area. For over 15 years, our coaching team has guided thousands of players, from aspiring juniors to competitive adults, helping them sharpen their skills and deepen their love for the sport.
Day after day, we saw a pattern. Players would arrive with brand-new equipment that was fighting their progress. We knew there had to be a better way to connect players with the right gear from the very start. Play Squash Gear is the solution—a store built directly from our on-court experience.
Our Vetting Process: The Coach's Approval
Our selection process is simple, but it’s everything. Before we add any product to our store, we ask one question: "Would we recommend this to one of our own students?"
This is our non-negotiable standard. Every racquet, shoe, and ball is tested by our coaching staff for performance, feel, durability, and true value. We filter out the marketing hype so you can be absolutely certain that any gear you buy from us is a sound investment in your game.
